![]() I just realized the picture I'm using of them looks like they are the Doodlebops and I will be leaving. This is manly just me being tired of Hades and Persephone being portrayed as a DDLG romance, while there is the opportunity to have a story that says a lot about life and death, so I just want to focus on the characters learning rather than romance. The story will not feature a romance between the story's Persephone and Hades, because I feel most of the time when it is depicted as a romance it rushed and unnatural, and I most definitely wouldn't be focusing on a romantic relationship with a man while my whole perception of death and the afterlife has been shifted and while I'm technically dead. Like how we hold value to things that really don't mean anything at all in the end like money, beauty, etc, accepting death while still valuing life, and moving on from the past. Desperate, she tells the faerie she wants to go to a place "where nothing hurts again", leading to the rest of the story. In the woods, she is met with a strange creature known as a faerie a being closely related to nature who is known to be fair-looking but dangerous. One night after a performance and while walking home, she breaks down alone in the woods. She begins to gain a negative view on life and hates the career she thought she would love. Later she had a son with zeus name dionysus. Rosemarie faces an early midlife crisis, feeling like she's stuck in a labyrinth that constantly changes and shifts in order for her to keep her inside. In the original version Persephone was the only ruler of Hade since Hades as a god did not exist back then. And naturally along with that, the career comes with broken toes and bruised feet. Despite the pretty and elegant face of the career, ballet was a low-paying career where ballerinas were often exploited just so they could make extra money for basic necessities. Rosemarie Lenore is a 35-year-old unmarried ballerina, which wasn't a good career during the time the story takes place. I'm not gonna frame this as a retelling of Hades and Persephone while change almost everything about the myth, and mythology in general.Īnd even though I am still in the stages where I'm nervous and hesitant to talk about the story, I'm still going to because people were interested in it when I first posted about it. I realized that I should have a more detailed description of the plot line of my story inspired by Hades and Persephone. ![]()
